We got an email today from Steve Spader who wanted to share some history from his Spader family. This Spader family has made up t-shirts for there 4th of July parties. Take a look at there definition of a Spader. (Click on the image to enlarge).
What great memories! I had the privilege of attending, at least, two of those parties which started early in the morning and went well into the hours of the next morning. I've never met such great people, eaten such fabulous food, danced until I couldn't stand!

Best front row seats in town for the fireworks and the parade of boats in the harbor. Almost sunk "The Lot" in 1976 with wall-to-wall people. It was truly a gathering of the clan, The Spader Clan!
