In his hometown of Canberra, DJ Just1 has earned the rep as the Australian Capital’s number one Hip-Hop and R&B DJ. It's easy to see why as he has supported big international acts such as Cypress Hill, Pharoahe Monch, Q-Tip, Pharcyde, Arrested Development, Wale, Dj Z-Trip & others. Just1 has also made and name for himself in the DMC circut (A.C.T DMC Champ 2004) aswell as spinning at major festivals such as Good Vibrations, Forshore & Block Party. To catch this Spader on the 1's & 2's, look out for his regular gigs in Sydney - Chinese Laundry, The Ivy, & Canberra - Meche, Academy & North Bar.

What did you dream of being when you were a kid?
Pro Rugby League player, (that dream died when I peaked at 72kg's...)

What are you doing now in your life?
Doing what I love, working with music, Dj'ing, traveling and meeting new people

What has been the best advice given to you about surviving in the entertainment industry?
'The bigger your head get's the easier it is to fill your shoe's!

Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?
Hip Hop, not just the music but the whole culture

Describe your style to us?
I like to be comfortable, everything I wear is big!

Describe your outfit when you go out?
New Era Fitted, fresh T-shirt, jean's and a pair of AF1's!

What item of clothing would you like to see brought back?
Hypercolour T-shirt's, (Spader Hyper Colour T-shirt's)

Who is a person that has been an inspiration to you?
Anyone who has perfected their art, whether it be an athlete like Michael Jordan, or a dj like Q-Bert, or Rahzel on the mic, watching someone take an art form that everyone thought was at it's peak and then taking it to a whole new level inspires me.

Who is the ultimate Spader to you?
James Rush is THE original Spader.
