Congratulations to Patrick Spader Mills who played his first NBA game today! Being a Canberra clothing brand and seeing a local Spader from the same area achieve his dreams is really exciting for us. Patty, the No.55 pick in the 2009 draft, dished two assists in just under five minutes in his side's 105-95 loss to Los Angeles Clippers. Patty went 0-3 from the field as the Trail Blazers slipped to 22-14 for the season. We all know Patty was just taking it easy on the Clippers today as he warms up for the rest of the season.
In taking to the famous Staples Centre in Los Angeles, Mills joined Andrew Bogut, Nathan Jawai and David Andersen as Australians to front up in the premier basketball competition in the world.
