ELIZABETH CAMBAGE INTERVIEW

Interview by Ingers.

Make sure you remember the name Elizabeth Cambage. At only 19 years of age, the 203cm centre dominates when she is on the court and is a superstar in the making. The Bulleen Boomers and Australian Opals Centre was named in the WNBL All-Star 5 last season and also helped her team to the grand final against the Canberra Captials last season, where she memorably held her own against one of the best in the world, Canberra's Lauren Jackson!

The #8 (like Kobe) also played sublimely for the Australian Opals in the FIBA World Championships in Czech last month, where she received accolades for her performances in helping the Opals finish 5th. With such an achievement-laden career already behind her at such young age, this Spader is already aspring towards a move to the WNBA imminently. With this in mind, Spader would like to thank Lizzie for her time and wish her the best of luck in her future career!

What did you dream of being when you were a kid?

I always loved animals, especially dugongs so growing up I wanted to become a marine biologist!

What are you doing now in your life?
Playing WNBL, trying to win the championship!

What has been the best advice given to you?

Don't listen to what others have to say, do your own thin

Where/who do you get your inspiration from?

I inspire to be the best person I can be, I don't inspire to be anyone. I just try be me haha.

Describe your outfit when you go out?
I have a pretty laid back approach to daily wear, I mix it up but always keep it stylin!

What item of clothing would you like to see brought back?

Blue denim overalls, so I can rock them with a backwards cap and high tops.

Who is a person that has been an inspiration to you?

My Mumma bear, she is such a strong person and given the best life a girl could have!

Who is the ultimate Spader to you?

Kid Cudi, I love his music and style and nobody is on the same vibe as him. He is also an inspiration for many because of his struggles and how he came up in the game.
